About the Character:
John is a college boy drafted into the Army and forced to round up and execute “criminals”: illegals, gays, and former friends.

About the Actor:
Vito Cottone was born on August 20th, in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He went to Villanova University majoring in Communication Arts & Sciences. Soon after, he began working as a theater actor in New York City where he studied with Terry Schreiber of the T. Schreiber Studio. Vito was soon cast in several small off-Broadway plays, such as "HoteL Baltimore", "The Death in the Juniper Grove", and the Samuel French festival play winner, "Playing House." Starring as "Dr. Jason Schwarzeele", in the self-produced short film "Shut the Cameras Off!" he delivers a gripping performance whom some have said is "on the forefront of indie filmmaking." Upcoming projects include work as the male lead on the development of the Sci-Fi movie production, "The Lost Ones", as well as his starring role in "The Republic", where he plays "John Alden", acting opposite Marc Singer and Sean Young, set to premiere this fall.
